Kelly Power isn’t a career politician — he’s a businessman, a leader, and a man of faith who has spent his life building, serving, and investing in Stone County.
With over four decades in the community, he understands the challenges we face and is ready to bring real leadership, accountability, and a plan for the future as your next Presiding Commissioner.
Kelly Power has spent his life building businesses, raising a family, and serving the community he loves. A Missouri resident for more than 60 years and a Stone County resident for 45 years, Kelly believes the future of our county depends on strong leadership, honest government, and common-sense decision making.
Kelly and his wife Cindy have been married for 41 years and raised their two sons, Daniel and Kyle, right here in Stone County. Both graduated from Reeds Spring High School, and today Kelly and Cindy are proud grandparents to Kaedyn and Kensligh.
Faith and family have always been the foundation of Kelly’s life. He has been a member of First Baptist Church of Cape Fair for 45 years and believes leadership should be rooted in servant leadership, integrity, and accountability.
Kelly has also spent decades investing in the youth of our community through programs such as Cross Trail Outfitters and the Boy Scouts of America. He served as committee chairman for 13 years, and during that time 23 young men achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. His commitment to mentoring young people reflects the values he has lived by for decades: responsibility, leadership, and service.
Kelly’s professional career reflects the same dedication and work ethic. He worked with Champion Boats from 1985–2004, helping grow the brand while gaining valuable experience in business operations and international trade. Through this work he developed relationships exporting products to Japan, where he still advises industry partners today.
He also pursued a professional fishing career, competing across the country and achieving remarkable success with over 300 tournament wins and 29 boats earned through competition.
Kelly and Cindy owned and operated Lakeway 1 Stop from 2005 until Cindy retired in 2017, serving both local residents and visitors to our lake community.
Today, Kelly owns Ulrich Marine and Extreme Outdoors in Branson West, two successful Stone County businesses that serve families and outdoor enthusiasts throughout the region. Ulrich Marine has been serving this community since 1979, and Kelly has proudly owned the business since 2015.
Under Kelly’s leadership, Ulrich Marine has received Mercury Marine’s Customer Service Excellence Award every year since the program began in 2006 — an achievement matched by only nine dealerships in the entire country.
Over the past 40 years, Kelly has built extensive experience in training employees, managing operations, developing marketing strategies, creating and maintaining budgets, and leading successful businesses. His career reflects a commitment to hard work, accountability, and financial responsibility. Kelly has never been involved in financial or legal trouble, because he believes integrity matters.
Kelly Power is running for Stone County Presiding Commissioner because he believes county government should work for the people — not for itself.
He is committed to:
• Honest, transparent leadership in county government
• Responsible infrastructure and economic growth
• Fixing the problems within Planning and Zoning
• Protecting taxpayers through responsible budgeting
• Expanding lake and outdoor access, including handicap-accessible access to the water
Kelly believes leadership is about service, not politics. His values are rooted in faith, family, accountability, and common-sense leadership.
Stone County deserves leadership that will listen to the people, respect taxpayers, and work hard to build a stronger future for our community.
Kelly Power is ready to serve and ready to get to work for Stone County.
